Crea Nova Consultancy gives advice in areas such as plant breeding, plant cell- and tissue culture, (biotech) research and product development in agriculture, forestry, ornamental and horticultural crops.
Crea Nova helps its customers in managing and implementing projects or inventions. We can help you to find the right technological tools to speed up your breeding programme and we will be able to guide you from the research phase all the way through product development and commercialisation.
In case you do not have the technical know-how, we will look for collaboration partners and establish those contacts for you worldwide. If you wish, we can also help you in designing and setting up a research laboratory in your own company.

Dr. Mei-Lie Tan, was born in Indonesia, but grew up in the Netherlands. She attended Universities in the Netherlands, Canada, Sweden and the UK and has worked as a senior scientist and business development manager at different companies (start-ups as well as multinationals) worldwide.
During her career she has gained experience in setting up and managing research labs, leading scientists in interdisciplinary teams, in acquisition of R&D projects, as well as in licensing in/out technology and submitting grants or subsidies and developing collaborations and joint ventures worldwide. Therefore, she is much specialized in the interphase between science and business.
She has an international network in science, Agro-business, Food Industry, Biopharma, Seeds, the Fresh Produce Industry and Aquaculture (macroalgae).
Mei Lie Tan is fluent in English, Dutch, German, French, Bahasa Indonesia and has an adequate knowledge of Spanish.
